Academic CentreThe idea of establishing the University of Latvia Alumni Club in the spring of 2015 came to us – a group of like-minded people – graduates and students of various faculties of the University of Latvia, who were and still are active participants in student organizations. We were united by the feeling that UL diploma means not only the knowledge acquired during the studies, but it also has added value – friends made during the studies, contacts with the teaching staff and with the management of the University of Latvia. And, of course, we had the experience of being socially active. That is why we created the Alumni Club of the University of Latvia, so that graduates who have something to say and have something to give both to each other and to the University of Latvia would have the opportunity to do so.
The organization unites graduates of the University of Latvia who have gained studies at the University in order to:
- create and develop an environment for the personal development and education of graduates, exchange of information and experience, formation of professional and personal contacts;
- enrich UL with graduates' knowledge, experience and resources;
- promote the development of the University of Latvia and promote its progress towards excellence, increasing the value of the University of Latvia diploma and promoting the growth of the country as a whole.
